There are several techniques for zinc layer thickness gauge: 1. Ultrasonic testing method It uses the propagation speed and reflection characteristics of ultrasound to measure the thickness of zinc layers. When the ultrasonic transmitter emits pulses to the surface of object to be tested, these waves will propagate inside the object and reflect off the surface. By receiving and analyzing the reflected ultrasonic signals, the thickness of the zinc layer can be calculated. 2. Radiographic testing method As a monitoring instrument,it is based on the penetration ability of rays such as gamma rays or X-rays.
